Tempatations are part and parcel of life even for saints. Satan never rests. The more spiritual you are the more the temptations. "Lead us not into temptations," the Good lord Jesus asked to pray constantly. Both Vianney and the priests of Graham Greene faced the same problem. Many other saintly people aslo faced the same problem engineered by the the Devil.
