But yesterday's reading about Ahab being about as evil as they come, and then repenting in sackcloth really serves to show that there is ALWAYS hope for change. We have to do what Jesus said, also in yesterday's gospel, "Love your enemies. Pray for those who persecute you." We don't have to get angry, we have to love. Love in action, as you said.
